Cardiac Physiologist (Bank)

We have an opportunity for a Cardiac Physiologist to join their team of staff in the Cardiology department. This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis; you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.
Duties Of This Role Include
* Perform and interpret a wide range of non‑invasive cardiac investigations including resting ECGs, Holter monitoring, event recorders, and blood pressure monitoring.
* Carry out and report on exercise tolerance tests (ETTs), tilt table testing, and other functional assessments.
* Assist in cardiac catheterisation procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and right heart studies.
* Conduct pacemaker, ICD, and CRT device checks and follow‑ups in accordance with current guidelines.
* Accurately document all tests and results in patient records.
* Calibrate, maintain, and ensure the safe use of all cardiology equipment.
Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria
* Current knowledge of a range of clinical specialties and developments in clinical practice.
* Experience of customer care, including interacting with customers in challenging situations.
* A degree in Clinical physiology or equivalent / ONC / BTEC in physiological measurement and medical physics.
* Device or Echocardiography accreditation (BHRS/BHRE/BSE).
