The role of Accounts Receivable Officer - Income Posting will include:
1. Processing cash received from Local Authorities and allocating to correct tenant accounts
2. Posting of cash from Sanctuary schemes to relevant accounts
3. Assist in maintenance of financial records ensuring accuracy, completeness and adherence to financial controls
4. Contribute to the collection of data to support root cause analysis for queries and make recommendations to support improvements
5. Assist in the development of accounts receivable administration and processes to provide efficient, customer focused services across the Group
6. Reconcile bank accounts in a timely manner, identifying any reconciling items that need investigating and escalating as appropriate
7. Provide managers and colleagues with clear guidance and advice, in response to accounts receivable queries, ensuring compliance with Group policy and relevant legislation
Skills and experiences:
8. Numeracy and literacy to the equivalent of Grade C English and Maths GCSE
9. Proven experience of working in a fast paced, Shared Service Centre role
10. Experience of administration processes relating to accounts
11. Excellent interpersonal and transactional skills
12. Proficient user of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams

25. Role salary is £24,832 with an additional policy allowance of £2,483 per annum
