Join a dynamic, small, and diverse team at Terrone & Co. as our Operations & Account Manager. This hands-on role involves a variety of tasks, ensuring smooth operations behind the scenes and maintaining our high-quality coffee standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Managing coffee roasting, including using Artisan on Mac and maintaining our roaster.
2. Overseeing daily operations in our roastery, such as order management, packing, and dispatching.
3. Supporting equipment maintenance, including installation, troubleshooting, and servicing espresso machines and grinders.
4. Communicating with green coffee suppliers and managing accounts, possibly visiting locations around London and further afield.
5. Occasionally assisting with roasting sessions and providing barista training to wholesale customers and home users.
We’re looking for someone who:
* Enjoys connecting with people and has strong customer service skills.
* Possesses solid knowledge of coffee, from farm to cup, including roasting and brewing.
* Can conduct short training sessions on basic barista skills.
* Can manage logistics and team schedules confidently.
* Has some technical ability or is eager to learn about installing and servicing coffee equipment (not essential).
