Private Client | Hull | Hybrid working
We are pleased to assist in recruiting a talented and experienced Private Client Solicitor for a well-established firm in Hull. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a solicitor with a solid background in wills, trusts, probate, and tax planning to either step into a leadership position or take on an experienced fee‑earning role. The successful candidate will be integral to a newly merged team, working closely across offices to enhance the firm’s private client services. The role offers flexibility with a hybrid working model, requiring a minimum of two days in the office, although more may be required from time to time for the needs of clients and the team.
Responsibilities
* Manage and develop the private client team, with a focus on helping this to expand
* Handle a varied caseload involving Wills, trusts, probate, and tax planning
* Someone with OMB expertise would be very attractive to this firm
* Lead on strategic client relationships and business development activities
* Support junior staff and share expertise to foster team growth
* Contribute to overall firm growth through high-quality service delivery
Requirements
* At least 8 years PQE with proven experience managing a private client team
* Extensive knowledge of Wills, trusts, probate and tax planning
* Experience in managing team performance and developing people
* Strong client management and business development skills
* A well‑rounded individual who can be both an experienced fee earner or a confident leader
* Ability to work across teams in a merged office environment, with flexible working arrangements
