Field Service Engineer (Plant)
Location: Essex
Salary: GBP 18.00 to GBP 20.00 per hour, DOE + Regular Overtime (15–20 hours per week at 1.5x). OTE A GBP 65,000+.

Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week – up to 60 hours with overtime.

The successful candidate will be an experienced mechanical engineer with experience in hydraulics. Candidates with experience on lifting equipment, plant machinery, forklifts or similar are encouraged.
Responsibilities:
* Carry out repair and service work on container lifting equipment across Essex ports.
* Travel directly to customer sites from home and act as a representative of the company in the region.
* Regular overtime available; no requirement for call out or weekend working.
Key requirements:
* Mechanically biased engineer.
* Experience with hydraulics.
* Background within lifting, plant, or similar.
Additional information: 40‑hour contract, up to 60 hours available with overtime paid at 1.5x; no out‑of‑hours call out.
