Role Overview: As a transport administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Traffic inbox daily and supporting the Transport Planner in the daily Transport Office tasks. Your duties will include: Checking and printing drivers/crew run sheets for all vehicles. Heading and routing all schedules daily. Managing drivers' holiday requests. Preparing handover documents and collating information for the night crew. Managing returned furniture and liaising with Despatch & Services to ensure returned goods are processed correctly. Recording and managing driver debrief sheets. Planning daily PLF/E-Run orders onto trunk schedules. Managing and maintaining changes to the fit database daily. Uploading to Tensor drivers’ absence/issues/disciplines &/or investigations/return to work. Producing and distributing weekly RSC load lists. Conducting driver briefings and providing instructions. Checking drivers' start times and hours using Tensor. Maintaining drivers' weekly rota and managing their hours to maximise efficiency with the plan and vehicle usage. Recording and reporting vehicle defects to the partner support company. Team Collaboration: Working closely with the Transport Planner and other team members to achieve common goals and support overall transport operations. What It Takes: We are seeking an enthusiastic Transport Administrator with the following skills and attributes: Excel Knowledge : Proficiency in Excel and an understanding of interpreting the AS400 system to best utilise our driving resources. Diligence and Calmness: Ability to work well and remain calm under pressure, with a strong attention to detail. Multi-tasking: Excellent ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the capability to react quickly and find the right solution. People Skills: A people person who can effectively deal with business leaders, internal management, external agencies, external suppliers, and self-employed fitters. Team Player and Leader: Confident and assured in leading and collaborating with the team.
