Overview
Nursery Practitioner – Full & Part Time – Wigan Area. Immediate start.
Qualifications
* Recognised childcare qualification level 2, 3 or equivalent
* Practical experience in a nursery or Early Years setting
* Solid understanding of the EYFS curriculum
* Experience supporting children with additional needs (ASD, speech and language difficulties, SEMH)
* Calm, nurturing and flexible approach
* Current Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging activities supporting early development across all learning areas
* Provide tailored support to meet individual needs, including SEND provision
* Contribute to a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
* Encourage positive interactions, independence and emotional development
* Maintain effective liaison with staff, parents and external professionals
* Support daily routines within the setting, including care and supervision
