Project Manager(Small works) MOD Framework Excellent opportunity to join a leading Lincolnshire based Building and Engineering company working on an Ministry of Defence Framework(Small works) Projects £5k - £500k. The projects will be based throughout the East Anglia, East Midlands and Warwickshire. Role and Responsibilities As a project manager you will need to: Follow a standard process, as defined by the Project Management Institute (PMI) Initiate the project – check feasibility and work out budgets, teams and resources Carry out planning – this will include setting goals and objectives, defining roles and producing schedules and timelines for tasks – in accordance with the needs of your client. Some tools, such as Gantt charts, can be used to create a visual project plan Select, lead and motivate your project team from both internal and external stakeholder organizations Manage the project – which includes coordinating the project team to keep them on track and keeping the project on budget Carry out monitoring and control activities in order to track the progress of the project Identify and manage risks to ensure delivery is on time Implement any necessary changes throughout the process Report regularly to management and the client Close the project – including evaluating successes and challenges to enhance learning for your next project KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS · Answerable to the construction lead and to produce KPI reports to demonstrate projects on track in all regards · Return on investment – quantify project value and gauge an investments profitability · Cost performance index – efficiently use project funds · Schedule performance index – performance of executing a project schedule · Resource management The successful candidate must be computer literate, well organised, be presentable and have good personal skill together with a solid all round construction knowledge and project delivery experience Requirements Experience of small works or construction projects under £1m CSCS Card SMSTS First aid Commutable to Lincolnshire
