12 month Contract
(Inside IR35)
£36 p/h via an umbrella company
Double Day Shift Pattern (20% uplift on rate)
Alternating weeks of morning and afternoon Monday to Friday
Mornings - 6:00am - 1:10pm
Afternoons - 1:30pm - 8:40pm
An exciting opportunity to join a dynamic Manufacturing Engineering team supporting a fast-paced aerospace production environment. This role focuses on lineside support, driving continuous improvement, resolving technical issues, and enhancing production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide on-shift support for technical issues including missing parts, non-conformities, and tooling concerns.
Lead and support improvement initiatives to optimize cycle time and operational efficiency.
Manage out-of-cycle work orders and escalate unresolved issues to relevant support functions.
Collaborate closely with production teams to ensure smooth operations and adherence to industrial excellence standards.
Support capacity planning and skill development in response to production changes.Requirements:
NVQ Level 4 / HNC or equivalent (preferred)
Background in Manufacturing Engineering
Experience with CATIA and SAP is advantageous
Basic understanding of aircraft build processes
