RecQuest is working for a well-established law firm where an excellent and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced litigation secretary. They are seeking a proactive and confident individual, ideally with experience in personal injury, to provide essential administrative support to fee earners.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage communication and liaison with experts, counsel, witnesses, and the court.
* Prepare and produce correspondence and documents through both audio and copy typing.
* Utilise accounting and time recording software to manage financial tasks.
* Check and proofread documents for accuracy and completeness.
* Assist with costing files for billing and cost update letters.
* Take and relay telephone messages professionally.
* Make appointments, manage diaries, and attend to client needs.
* Perform general office tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and preparing mail.
* Ensure the strict confidentiality and security of all documentation in compliance with GDPR regulations.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Good academic record.
* Essential secretarial experience in a litigation environment.
* Prior experience with the Proclaim Case Management system is a distinct advantage.
What they offer:
This is a part-time, office-based role located in Chichester. The working hours are 9 am to 5.15 pm, three days a week, with the specific days to be agreed upon with the successful candidate. Salary 25,000 -30,000 (FTE)
