Position: Account Manager (Australian Market)
Office location: Old Trafford, Manchester, M16 0PQ
Working hours: 4 nights per week (9:30pm - 6:30am)
Reports to: Head of Client Engagement
Responsibilities
* Manage the day-to-day needs of 400-500 accounts, including long-standing clients and new clients routing from the sales teams.
* Coordinate with creative teams to deliver top-quality productions and proactively advise on clients’ ongoing marketing needs.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with decision makers; listen actively to understand business plans and marketing objectives, and present innovative solutions.
They epitomise a ‘people person’—a professional who acts as an extension of the client’s business.
Strategic objectives and responsibilities
* Demonstrate expert understanding of clients’ needs, PHMG’s product portfolio, and the wider industry at every touch point to offer exceptional creative, technical, and commercial support.
* Collaborate across a matrix of teams to deliver productions and audio projects to exemplary standards, exceeding client expectations through strong communication and project management.
* Deliver industry-leading customer service to drive ongoing satisfaction improvements.
* Maintain a constant pipeline of potential new business opportunities and avoid last-minute chasing to hit targets.
* Identify commercial opportunities within the client base and foster long-term relationships with a flexible contact model suited to each client.
* Know your numbers, monitor data, spot trends, and plan ahead; stay informed about client health throughout the month.
* Seek guidance and development from peers and across the network; a visible commitment to personal development.
Measures of success
* Extensive experience in a B2B Account Management, Business Development, or Sales role.
* Ability to spot opportunities to increase revenue within the account base.
* Highly organized with the ability to manage and prioritise a high volume account base.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
