WHAT TO EXPECT
The role aligns with JLR’s purpose of delivering modern luxury by ensuring a seamless, welcoming experience for employees, visitors, customers, and partners across our UK manufacturing and non-manufacturing sites.
You will perform predefined tasks with an added-value approach, maintaining high standards of service and operational efficiency.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
* Develop a comprehensive understanding of JLR sites to assist customers in understanding our operations across UK sites.
* Manage incoming calls via the switchboard and generate access control reports.
* Execute the monthly onboarding and offboarding processes.
* Document and uphold working practices in line with JLR standards.
* Promote continuous improvement within the reception and access control team.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
* Experience in customer service or hospitality roles.
* Conflict resolution skills or related experience.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with proficiency in administration and MS Office 365 applications.
* Experience with switchboard/telephony and access control systems.
The role is based in Solihull and requires mobility across all JLR Midland sites, with flexibility to meet operational needs. Working hours vary by site; flexibility is essential to cover all reception and access control duties, including additional hours when covering other sites.
