Event Marketing Manager – Technology Events
Circa £40-45000 + Benefits + Bonuses + Career Growth + Remote
UK - Remote
My client produces global conferences, customised events and content across the Technology space. A new role has arisen for an Events Marketer with minimum 2 years+ B2B experience, ideally from a conference business, to work on a growing portfolio of international events & roundtables.
The Role…
As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for implementing innovative and effective digital marketing campaigns on time and within budget to meet business objectives. You must be a self-starter with strong strategic planning and campaign execution skills. Tasks include data management, social media optimization, website and e-shot planning/content/execution, PPC and remarketing campaigns, media and channel partner management, and more.
Specifically, the role involves:
* Campaign Management: Evaluate customer research, market conditions, competitor data, and response analyses to produce effective marketing plans, define campaign strategies, and meet revenue and lead generation targets while controlling the marketing budget.
* CRM and Data Management: Develop list build strategies and source innovative data.
* Email Marketing: Collaborate with relevant departments, create effective email copy, use our software to create emails, track responses, and analyze results.
* Media Partners: Build and maintain relationships with trade press, associations, publications, and industry bodies to promote the events portfolio, ensuring timely submission of materials and delivery of third-party activities.
* Collateral and Content Production: Work with designers to create brochures and print ads, proofread, sign off, and distribute materials. Create engaging content for various channels, conduct interviews, and distribute content online and through media partners to generate inquiries.
* Social Media, PPC, and Remarketing: Manage and develop LinkedIn, Twitter, and other channels for lead generation and branding. Use social media advertising and PPC to reach new audiences.
We’re looking for a confident, passionate, energetic individual who enjoys teamwork. Strong communication skills, experience in creating targeted digital campaigns with clear ROI, and preferably some experience in marketing within B2B publishing, conferences, or exhibitions (minimum 2 years) are required. Knowledge of HubSpot, excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, and a results-oriented mindset are essential.
