The role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and highly motivated individual to teach within our excellent A level Law team at Gower College Swansea. The role is a permanent, part-time post and includes delivering the Advanced Skills Baccalaureate Wales and A level tutorial.
* Part-time, 18.5 hours per week
* Salary: £22,000 - £45,000 per annum (depending on qualifications and/or experience), pro rata
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide excellent teaching, learning, and assessment
* Plan, prepare, and deliver A level Law/Advanced Skills Challenge Certificate lessons, ensuring schemes of work and assessments align with exam board specifications
* Employ teaching strategies and materials to meet diverse learner needs
* Assess and monitor learner progress, set targets, and maintain records of work and achievement
* Stay updated on curriculum developments, subject knowledge, and teaching innovations
About you:
* Passion for teaching and learning
* Professional qualification or first degree in Law or equivalent
* Teaching qualification or willingness to obtain one
* Successful teaching experience
