Job Title: HGV Technician – Up to £56K OTE – Fleet Maintenance Location: Brentwood Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM 1 in 2 Saturday mornings, 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM Overtime available at 1.5x rate (Most technicians work until 6 PM)Salary & Benefits: Up to £20 per hour – £41,600 basic salary OTE up to £56,000 per annum with overtime Company van and fuel card provided 21 days holiday 8 bank holidays Class 1 training provided IRTEC Licence trainingThe Role: As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of heavy goods vehicles to ensure they remain in safe and roadworthy condition. Key Responsibilities: Carrying out inspections, servicing, and repairs on HGVs to DVSA standards Diagnosing and rectifying faults on a range of vehicles and trailers Performing preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and breakdowns Conducting MOT preparation and presenting vehicles for testing Completing job cards and service records accurately Ensuring all work is carried out efficiently and to high safety standards Supporting the workshop team and mentoring junior technicians when requiredWhat We're Looking For: Experienced HGV Technician – Fleet maintenance experience preferred Will consider Level 2 qualified or time-served technicians Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Class 1 licence desirable but not essential (training provided)This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled HGV Technician to join a growing company that invests in its people.
