Chef – £15.50 per hour – Weekly Pay

Hours: 37.5 hours per week
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Chef to join our clients team. The role is full-time, working 37.5 hours per week across a 7-day rota, including every other weekend. Days off are provided during the week when weekends are worked.
Shift patterns: On rota
Key Duties & Responsibilities for a Chef:
Preparing and cooking meals in line with pre-set menus and dietary requirements
Batch cooking to ensure consistent quality and portion control
Following standardised recipes and procedures
Ensuring food is prepared and served safely, meeting all food hygiene standards
Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
Monitoring stock levels and informing the relevant person of any shortages
Adhering to all health and safety and food safety regulations
Working both independently and as part of a small team
Requirements for a Chef:
Level 2 Food Safety Certificate (essential)
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (due to location)
Previous experience working in a similar chef or cook role
Strong understanding of food hygiene, allergen management, and safe food handling
Ability to follow structured menus and recipes confidently
