We are looking to recruit friendly, enthusiastic and reliable GP Receptionist / Administrator (Patient Care Coordinator) to join our busy GP Practice based in Swindon.
The ideal candidate would be a team player who has strong IT and communication skills. The post holder will need to be able to work well under pressure and cope with conflicting demands. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
This is an ideal job for someone looking to start and develop their career in the NHS or someone with experience who thrives in the busy GP environment. The candidate must be willing to learn and have the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Main duties of the job
KeyResponsibilities:
Openand prepare reception for surgeries
Arrange clinical appointments for patients
Follow our online triage system to either guide patients through it over the phone or support them to use it themselves
Receiveand direct patients arriving for appointments
Filingand pulling medical records
Operatesurgery computer and telephone system
Beable to use the photocopier / scanner
Attend Patient Services Team meetings as appropriate and assist with the development and improvement of reception and administrative processes

Facilitate the smooth running of reception areas in order to provide patients with a professional and efficient service and provide support to all GPs and other health care professionals.

Attend team meetings as appropriate and assist with the development and improvement of receptionsprocedures
