Overview
Expleo is growing its UK Technology consulting business. We are seeking a hunter who wants to find the next opportunity, build a case from scratch, and close deals. This role focuses on selling Expleo’s technology services into a defined part of our UK business, with some warm relationships in place, but the majority of effort is on hunting for new opportunities, building pipeline, and bringing in new clients who haven’t worked with Expleo before.
You’ll maintain a small number of existing relationships, but this is not an account management position. If you’re motivated by the chase and by creating something new, this is the role for you.
Responsibilities
* Identify, pursue and close new logo opportunities across target markets — owning the full sales cycle from first contact to contract signature
* Build and manage a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities, maintaining accurate forecasting and clear closure plans
* Develop trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and C-suite sponsors across target accounts
* Work closely with Expleo's technical and delivery experts to shape compelling propositions that win on value, not price
* Lead bid responses and solution development for complex, high-value pursuits
* Collaborate with Expleo's international network where there are opportunities to grow multi-market relationships
Qualifications
* Educated to degree level or equivalent work experience
Essential Skills
* You'll have a proven track record of winning new clients — not just growing existing ones — within UK technology consulting or professional services. You’ll be credible at C-level and commercially sharp enough to navigate complex sales cycles without hand-holding.
* Demonstrable new logo wins in UK tech consulting, digital transformation or engineering services
* Experienced in managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from origination to close
* Comfortable leading solution and bid development — bringing together internal experts to craft a winning response
* Fluent at C-level: you build genuine relationships with decision-makers, not just contacts
* Familiar with structured sales methodologies — Sandler, Miller Heiman, SPIN or similar
* Highly motivated, self-directed, and driven by results — not by being managed
