Internal Account Development Executive
Scale and Scope
Report to: National Sales team Manager
Salary: £26,000 to £28,000 per Annum (based on experience)
Commission: £1,250 per quarter OTE
Annual Portfolio Revenue: £250K - £1M
Average daily calls: 35
Average daily call time: 2:00 hrs
Monthly new account wins/reactivations (£1500-£50K):6
Monthly Appointments (£10K+):4
Role Profile
Delivering strong profitable revenue from the SME Portfolio of account customers spending up to £50K annually through highly effective management of these B2B customers over the phone. Working as part of a team with the National Sales Team and others in the business to make sure tasks are completed in a timely manner. Keeping promises to customers and making sure the highest levels of customer service are always upheld.
Role Contribution
Account Development
Ability to work with existing customers to highlight areas where Thrifty can gain additional rental volumes. Negotiation with lapsed accounts that can be re-activated.
Sales process Management
Use of in-house CRM (Athena) to document and report on account management activity. Managing customer paperwork requirements using online paperwork. Requires high levels of accuracy in written and verbal communication.
Commercial Awareness
Understanding of the Thrifty business model so key decisions can be explained to customers.
Keeps abreast of competitor activities and market trends to identify opportunities and safeguard against un-profitable business
Business Communication
Collaborates with other functions so accounts are set up quickly and efficiently within the agreed SLAs. A full understanding of other departments roles in the customer journey so customer queries can be resolved in a timely manner.
RelationshipBuilding
Builds effective relationships with customers and other teams within Thrifty to help drive revenue generation opportunities within the existing customer portfolios.
Teamwork
Works in tandem with the National Sales Executive to cover existing customer requirements across both Internal Sales portfolios when needed. Supports the wider Sales team as and when needed.
Ad hoc Project work
Able to support the National Sales Team Manager with specific projects from time to time whilst fitting in around normal workload.

What we need in the role is
somebody who
Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Can work effectively under pressure and consistently deliver on revenue targets and profitable new account wins that will grow into loyal Thrifty customers, they are also motivated by identifying larger opportunities that they work as a team with NAEs/NAMs to help deliver.
What we dont need in the role is
somebody who
Has no sense of urgency and is unable to understand the role they play in the team and how it affects the overall revenue performance. They are easily frustrated when things dont go their way and they will sit and wait for opportunities to come to them.
Qualifications
Maths & English GCSE or equivalent
Experience
Ideally a proven track record in a customer facing Business environment where a superior work ethic has been demonstrated. B2B/B2C sales experience preferred. Corporate rental experience is a plus.
