Overview
We are seeking a full‑time Specialty Dentist for Oral Medicine and Oral Surgery to fill a total of 10 sessions within the Edinburgh Dental Institute for an 8‑month period. The post offers an opportunity to contribute to a tiered, consultant‑led Oral Medicine service and to work within the Oral Surgery service at the Edinburgh Dental Institute (EDI).

Responsibilities
* Provide oral medicine and oral surgery services to patients.
* Attend 10 patient appointments (PAs) with scheduled days to be agreed with the Clinical Director.
* Collaborate with colleagues within Oral Medicine, Oral Surgery and the wider Dental Institute.
* Report to Lorraine Canning, Clinical Services Manager, and Professional Leads William Harrison and Laura Bryce.
Qualifications
* Fully registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) and hold a licence to practice.
* Completed four years of full‑time postgraduate training (or equivalent on a less than full‑time or flexible basis) since initial registration, with adequate experience in Oral Medicine and Oral Surgery; or have equivalent training, experience or competencies gained in the UK or overseas.
* Demonstrable experience supporting patients in Oral Medicine and Oral Surgery.
* At least three years of full‑time postgraduate training with relevant speciality experience.
