Junior QC IT Systems Analyst role at FUJIFILM Biotechnologies.
The workflow at FUJIFILM Biotechnologies (FDB) focuses on combining technical leadership in cell culture, microbial fermentation and gene therapies with world-class cGMP manufacturing facilities. This is a global role that may be based at any FUJIFILM Biotechnologies site, with benefits and compensation governed by the home site location.
Role & Responsibilities
As a Junior QC IT Systems Analyst you will be responsible for operations and maintenance of the systems in your domain, particularly Labware LIMS and Empower. Your objective is to continuously improve business operations and ensure compliance/alignment between requirements from different stakeholders.
You will:
* Provide timely and effective support to internal customers and anticipate their needs to enhance service quality
* Ensure reliability, availability, and security of systems under your management; stay current with technology and implement improvements
* Adhere to ITIL/ITSM frameworks; document and refine IT processes to improve efficiency
* Prepare technology-related documentation for GxP and critical IT technologies; participate in system validation and testing; approve validation documentation with IT QMS
* Contribute to IT projects, manage timelines and budgets, and apply best practices in project management
* Establish and maintain relationships with technology vendors; monitor vendor performance for value
* Support and administer applications within the Technical Operations QC IT portfolio and participate in related upgrades and life-cycle maintenance
Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Knowledge & Skills
* Excellent oral and written communication in English; collaborative attitude with global peers
* Pharmaceutical experience is required
* Ability to prioritize and work autonomously toward common goals
* Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills; ability to simplify processes
* Quality-minded with a high sense of responsibility
* Willingness to learn new things; experience with QC and QA processes is an advantage
* Working knowledge of software maintenance in a regulated environment; ISO and cGMP understanding; knowledge of GAMP
* Experience in IT projects
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (e.g., IT or computer science)
* Additional certifications relevant to the role (e.g., Labware LIMS or Waters Empower Administration) are desirable
* 2+ years of IT and/or pharmaceutical industry experience with knowledge of computer systems validation
* Experience designing, installing, and testing IT systems; experience administering Labware LIMS and Empower applications
