Job Description
We’re recruiting for an Operational Controls Consultant to join the Workplace Savings team on a full-time, permanent basis. We’re offering a competitive base salary. What you'll be doing:
1. Reviewing and reporting on operational controls to ensure service standards are met
2. Undertaking assessments of policies, procedures, systems and internal controls
3. Coordinating monitoring activities to meet AAF 01/20 technical standards
4. Encouraging timely disclosure and escalation of risks, issues and breaches
5. Supporting the development of corrective action plans where failings are identified
6. Providing operational controls expertise to internal projects and initiatives
7. Assisting in the creation and delivery of risk-related training and presentations
8. Ensuring that good conduct and treating customers fairly is central to decisions and actions taken
QualificationsWho we're looking for:
9. A background within Risk
10. Strong written and verbal communication skills
11. Strong management reporting skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights through effective reporting
12. High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
13. Capability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
14. Effective collaboration with peers and senior stakeholders
15. Knowledge of pensions or financial services (desirable)
16. Understanding of risk management systems and regulatory environments
