Mid Day Supervisor Race Leys Infant School Permanent Contract – 5 hours per week, SCP B band 2-3 £2,637.37 - £2,678.74 per year (actual salary) About Us & The Role Race Leys Infant School is located in Bedworth, catering for children from 4 years to 7 years. We are a happy, forward thinking school, passionate about ensuring all children have access to the highest quality education in a safe and stimulating environment. We are seeking to appoint a Mid-Day Supervisor to join our friendly team of lunchtime staff. The permanent contract will be everyday Monday to Friday from 12pm – 1.00pm during school term times only (38 weeks per year). The position is available for the successful candidate to start in the role from 1st September 2025. Key Requirements: The post holder will be responsible for looking after pupils during their midday break, this will involve supervising the collection and eating of lunches, cleaning of any spillages, organising the children coming in and out of the building and initiating play activities outside. We are looking for someone who: • Enjoys working with children • Is polite and able to develop positive relationships with children • Is able to speak to children sensitively • Is able to work as part of a team – listening to others, sharing ideas, being helpful to one another • Is sensible and able to use their initiative They will also need to be mindful of the specific needs of children on our SEND register or those that have medical needs. Full training will be given for this. Previous experience in the role is desirable but not essential, as full training and support will be given.
