Description
As part of our Emergency Response Team, you’ll be the first on the scene at customers’ homes, acting as the face of our brand for people concerned about potential gas escapes or carbon monoxide alarms.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond to emergency calls and work with emergency services to protect lives.
* Install, replace and maintain gas meters for home and business customers.
* Conduct high‑rise and gas safety regulation surveys.
* Fit cooker safety valves and perform varied on‑site tasks.
* Work on a shift pattern rota averaging 40 hrs per week, including weekends and unsociable hours.
Experience and Qualifications
* Full valid driver’s licence.
* CCN1 or CMA1 qualification required; MET1 beneficial.
* Strong knowledge of gas systems, regulations, safety protocols.
* Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
* Experience working within a gas environment, testing, purging and commissioning pipework.
* Understanding of standards, legislation, codes of practice and Health and Safety.
