We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Staff Nurse to join our friendly team within the Bignold ward at Caithness General Hospital, Wick. We are a busy 21 bed post- acute and rehabilitation ward. We care for a variety of complex conditions such as stroke and neurological conditions, orthopaedics and elderly care; this has led our team to develop an advanced skill set in many different areas of nursing. We accept patient ready for rehab from our acute admissions ward or direct from other hospitals across Scotland. As a trained nurse, you will be supported in completing further training and gaining the experience needed to deliver a high standard of evidence based patient centred care. You will be working closely with our consultant led multi-disciplinary team and will play a key role in implementing medical treatment and rehabilitation goals. This post would be suitable for a newly qualified nurse. This is a permanent, full-time post of 37 hours per week, worked as a rotational contract and in accordance with service requirements.
