HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) - Full Time
Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)
Start Date: As soon as possible
Contract Type: Full Time, Temporary, Fixed Term
Salary: Dependent on experience and qualifications
Are you an experienced and enthusiastic HLTA looking to make a real difference in a vibrant and supportive primary school community? We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team in Wellingborough, working across all year groups to support teaching and learning.
As an HLTA, you will:
* Lead whole-class sessions in the absence of the teacher
* Deliver planned learning activities to individuals, small groups, and whole classes
* Support children with a range of learning needs
* Work closely with class teachers to assess progress and adapt teaching accordingly
* Play a key role in raising pupil achievement and promoting positive behaviour
* Holds HLTA status (or equivalent experience)
* Has experience working across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2
* Demonstrates a flexible, proactive, and positive approach
* Has strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Is committed to inclusive education and safeguarding
