Location: Stowmarket, Suffolk, East Anglia, UKWe are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team in Suffolk on a temporary basis for up to 3 months. The successful candidate will have hands-on mechanical fitting experience, with welding, drilling, and calibration skills essential. No design work is required. Full training will be provided on all company machinery and equipment.Key Responsibilities Carry out mechanical fitting, assembly, and maintenance tasks on a variety of machinery and equipment Perform welding, drilling, and calibration work to required standards Read and work from engineering instructions and job sheets (no design responsibilities) Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organised manner Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support daily operations Follow all company health, safety, and environmental proceduresTraining & Development Full training provided on all in-house machinery and equipmentAdditional Information Temporary contract for up to 3 months Overtime available depending on workload Competitive hourly rate of £18
