We are passionate about delivering high‑quality, trauma‑informed practice that places children and families at the centre of everything we do.

Our service is actively embedding The Promise, UNCRC, GIRFEC, and the National Child Protection Guidance, alongside the Safe and Together Model, which is being implemented across the Local Authority. We firmly believe in the power of strength‑based, relational social work and are dedicated to supporting children and families affected by adult and childhood trauma, including where relationships and parental capacity may be compromised.

To assume case management responsibilities specific to the Service, carrying out assessment of service users’ needs and risks, following Service procedures and delivering direct interventions to individuals and small groups as part of a programme of interventions. The role will also involve participating in structured consultation/supervision sessions and representing the Social Work Service in multi‑disciplinary forums, all in accordance with Council or hosted stakeholder arrangements, through a Service Level Agreement or Partnership arrangement.

Induction & Development (for Newly Qualified Social Workers)

We have developed an innovative and comprehensive induction programme for Newly Qualified Social Workers, including:

* Regular NQSW support groups.
