We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join a busy healthcare setting on a temporary basis. The role focuses primarily on managing referral appointments and handling all associated administrative tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication skills and experience in a medical or administrative environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and schedule referral appointments accurately and efficiently.
* Liaise with patients, healthcare professionals, and external providers regarding referrals.
* Maintain and update patient records in line with confidentiality and data protection standards.
* Handle incoming calls and emails, providing excellent customer service.
* Process and track referral documentation and ensure timely follow-up.
* General administrative duties including filing, scanning, and data entry.
* Support the wider team with ad-hoc tasks as required.
Skills and Experience
