Consultant Radiologist with Cardio-Thoracic Interest
The work programme and job plan will be agreed on appointment. It is a full time appointment. As a minimum it will be examined yearly during job planning. It will include a minimum of 1.5 SPA (Supporting professional activities) and rest DCC (Direct Clinical care activities). Distinct roles with other NHS responsibilities will attract further PA. Remote working is supported as part of the Job plan within the Trust and EMRAD consortium. Remote workstations can be provided (subject to availability). The job plan will be subject to review, with any revisions sought by mutual agreement but it is expected that the successful candidate will work with the Clinical business unit management team across UHN to ensure that services are delivered efficiently and reflect best practice with processes and governance to match.
There is on-call commitment, included in the weekly timetable. The rota is 1 in 13, which will be one weekday between 5pm-8pm, and split weekends (10am-4pm). Currently, 1 PA is given for on-call.
