Summary
As an IT apprentice with Rushcliffe Care Group, you will support the head office with basic IT tasks, including setting up equipment, troubleshooting issues, maintaining hardware and software, and assisting users. You will work under supervision while completing a formal IT apprenticeship qualification with Loughborough College.
Wage £14,918.80 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age
National Minimum Wage rate for apprentices
Salary may be reviewed on completion of probation – probation period of 6 months with an option to extend of 3 months if required.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
1. Assist with setting up and configuring IT equipment (PCs, printers, phones)
2. Provide first-line technical support to staff in person and remotely
3. Log and track IT support requests using the internal system
4. Help maintain hardware, software, and user accounts
5. Support routine maintenance tasks such as updates and backups
6. Assist with onboarding tasks, including setting up new user profiles
7. Maintain accurate IT asset and inventory records
8. Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when needed
9. Support wider digital and system projects where appropriate
10. Follow data protection and IT security protocols at all times
