Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various areas around the school, including toilet areas, classrooms, stairs etc, ensuring that all areas are clean, sanitised, tidy and presentable. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. The successful applicants must have a clean criminal record as an Enhanced DBS certificate is required for this position, which we will help obtain
Working hours are Monday to Friday 3.30 pm-6 pm
Rate of pay is £12.21 per hour
Responsibilities
* Carry out cleaning duties in accordance with established standards and procedures.
* Ensure all areas are cleaned thoroughly, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
* Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment safely and effectively.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
* Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with clients and colleagues.
* Drive to various locations as required for cleaning assignments.
Requirements
* Proficiency in English to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
* Strong customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction.
* Excellent communication skills for reporting issues and collaborating with the team.
* Driving licence preferred for transportation between job sites.
* Previous cleaning experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
