Fabric Engineer – FM Service Provider - Law Firm – Liverpool Street, London - up to £36,000 per annum

Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM service provider situated in London Bridge, London.

CBW is currently recruiting a Fabric Engineer to be based in a commercial office space located near Liverpool Street, London.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of most general fabric trades such as basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting etc.

In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £36,000, overtime and further training.

You will be working as a part of a small team looking after 17 tenanted floors of a law firm.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

* Emergency lighting tests & Fire alarm tests
* Painting & Decorating
* Basic lighting
* Basic Carpentry and plumbing
* Fixing Furniture
* Hanging Pictures & Shelves
* Maintain and update Log books
* Assist the maintenance team on site
* Escort sub-contractors
* To undertake basic “Fabric duties” which would include touching up paintwork, tightening hinges, install/repair blinds, changing locks, making minor repairs to cabinets, desks, and putting together small equipment like chairs etc.

Working hours & package

* Up to £36,000
* Monday to Friday - 08:00 am - 17:00 pm
* 25 days holiday + Bank holidays
* Overtime available

Requirements

* Knowledge of commercial building maintenance
* An understanding of most building fabric duties (Plumbing, Painting, Carpentry, Basic Electrical, etc)
* A desire to get into maintenance.
* Good communication skills
* Health & Safety experience
* Basic PC literacy, (Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, smartphone use)
* Ability to deliver excellent customer service
* Self-motivation with the ability to manage tight time constraints and prioritise workload
