Support Worker / Residential Childcare Support Adult
Location: Sussex
Salary: £30,966 – £32,058 per year (including sleep-in pay)
Contract: Permanent | Rota-based (3 days per week, 42 hours, including sleep-in shifts)

Role: Support Worker (Support Adult)
This role goes beyond basic care. As a Support Worker / Support Adult, you'll:
* Provide day-to-day support in line with our ethos of love, safety, and therapeutic care.
* Act as a positive role model, encouraging independence, resilience, and personal growth.
* Build strong, trusting relationships and provide one-to-one emotional support.
* Safeguard and protect children, ensuring safety in both the home and community.
* Implement personalised care plans tailored to each child's needs, wishes, and feelings.
* Support household routines, creating a clean, welcoming environment.
* Work as part of a team of child support workers and residential childcare professionals, alongside external agencies.

We're looking for Support Workers who are:
* Emotionally resilient, empathetic, and passionate about making a difference.
* Skilled in communication and teamwork.
* Able to build strong, positive relationships with children and young people.
* Confident with basic IT skills.
* Holders of a full UK driving licence.
* Willing to complete further training (including the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare if not already held).
Desirable:
* Level 3 Diploma/NVQ in Caring for Children & Young People.
* Previous experience in a residential childcare or support worker setting.
