GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and proactive Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive school in Sheffield, S9. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students to promote positive behaviour, support emotional wellbeing, and create a safe and nurturing learning environment. Responsibilities as a Behaviour Mentor: Provide 1:1 and small group mentoring to students requiring behavioural support. Implement strategies to manage challenging behaviour and encourage positive choices. Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils to promote engagement and confidence. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure cohesive support. Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment. Requirements for Behaviour Mentor: Experience working with children or young people in a behavioural or mentoring role is desirable. Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills. Resilient, patient, and adaptable when supporting students with challenging behaviour.
