About the role
As a Senior Electrical Engineer you will contribute to projects that significantly impact our environment and communities. Working primarily in the UK water market, MMB provides the feasibility, design, construction, and commissioning services needed to keep water flowing and wastewater treated. You’ll work on projects that make a real difference to our environment and our communities by enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of water and wastewater treatment systems.
Responsibilities
* Preparing and reviewing electrical engineering designs for water treatment equipment on our client’s site, including Motor Control Centres, LV distribution systems, Cabling, Control Philosophies, Instrumentation, Industrial Networks, PLCs and SCADA; both new latest technology and existing legacy installations.
* Producing and reviewing technical specifications and schedules for procurement activities, reviewing supplier tender bids and technical submissions.
* Supervising and mentoring our Graduates and Engineers, assisting them to develop their knowledge and skills.
* Understanding, applying and contributing to design standards with a good knowledge of Client and WIMES standards.
* Positively engaging with the client, building relationships and supporting them to achieve their aims.
Qualifications
* Degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field.
* Chartered or incorporated member of a professional institution e.g. IET, etc., or equivalent experience.
* Water or wastewater treatment experience required.
* A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across your operational region.
