You will work closely with data engineers, technical leads, product owners, and reporting teams to define requirements, validate data outputs, and continuously improve the quality and usability of our reporting solutions. This role requires a flexible and driven individual to help us shape the future of the client experience at Aberdeen.
Key Responsibilities
* Engage with internal stakeholders to understand reporting needs related to client data.
* Translate business requirements into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria for the data engineering team.
* Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and enhance data accessibility for end users.
* Maintain documentation of data definitions, business rules, and reporting logic to support transparency and governance.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of Agile practices, participating in sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
* Identify opportunities to reuse existing functionality, simplify processes, and leverage configuration to accelerate solution delivery.
* Utilise AI and automation technology to enhance the analyst role and share best practices with colleagues.
About The Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
* Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a financial services or asset management environment
* Familiarity with Snowflake or similar cloud-based data warehouse platforms.
* Ability to think from the perspective of internal end users, with a focus on usability, clarity, and business value.
