Able to attend a 5-week training course in Wakefield - with travel and accommodation (where required) covered to make your experience smooth and accessible. Demonstrates technical aptitude - whether through formal qualifications, hands-on work experience, or a personal passion for technical hobbies.
Responsibilities
* Attend training at a state-of-the-art centre, gaining hands-on experience, expert knowledge, and an industry-recognised qualification.
* Work with seasoned engineers and, once trained, operate in your local area to solve real problems for real people, e.g., fixing fridges and troubleshooting cookers.
* As a Trainee Kitchen Appliance Engineer, be the customer’s trusted point of contact when things go wrong and help restore appliances to working order while delivering top-notch customer service.
* Embrace a hands-on, sleeves-up approach and contribute to making a positive impact in customers’ homes every day.
About You / Qualifications
* A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
* Passion for learning a trade, building a career, and delivering excellent customer service.
* Age, gender, background: considered irrelevant; we value your drive, passion, and potential.
Salary and Benefits
* A starting salary of £27,009 which will continue to rise as you hit specific milestones during your traineeship.
* Upon completing the full programme and aftercare, salary increases to £38,589 with bonus and add-ons.
* London Weighting Allowance ranging from £4,160 to £6,240 (dependant on location) for living or starting your day within London.
