We have an exciting role on offer within our Prevention and Partnership as a Staying Put Agency Caseworker.
The Middlesbrough Staying Put Agency is a nationally recognised Home Improvement Agency, renowned for its commitment to helping older, vulnerable, and disabled people live independently in their own homes. Celebrated for its award-winning services and best practice approach, this is an excellent opportunity to join a passionate and dedicated team.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative individual who thrives in a collaborative, supportive, and friendly environment. By joining our experienced team, you will play a key role in delivering essential services to the residents of Middlesbrough. In this role, you will provide high-quality housing-related support, with a particular focus on hoarding intervention and ensuring a safe, warm home environment for vulnerable and elderly residents.
You will work closely with contractors and stakeholders to deliver coordinated support, helping residents overcome barriers to maintaining a healthy home and enabling them to remain well and independent for longer. You will also be responsible for processing Disabled Facilities Grants (DFG) and other preventative grants. This will include visiting residents, assisting with application forms, and carrying out financial means testing.
This is a highly rewarding position, centred on safeguarding the well-being and independence of residents, preventing ill health, and promoting safe and comfortable living environments.
If this is you, this may be the opportunity you are looking for!
