MFL Teacher (French) – Secondary School (East Riding Area)
Part-Time | Permanent | September Start
£30,000 – £46,525 per annum (MPS/UPS), depending on experience and qualifications
Vision for Education are seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school within easy commuting distance of Hull, Goole, and surrounding villages.
This is a part -time 0.6, permanent position starting in September. The successful candidate will initially have the opportunity to complete the first term on a supply basis through Vision for Education, before transitioning onto a direct contract with the school.
The Role
The successful MFL Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective French lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will join a collaborative department committed to fostering a love of languages and supporting students of all abilities to achieve their potential.
Salary
£30,000 – £46,525 per annum (MPS/UPS), depending on experience and qualifications
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality French lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners
Contribute to the wider life of the school and department
Uphold school policies and procedures
Requirements
To be considered for the role of MFL Teacher, you will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Have experience teaching French at KS3 and KS4
Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for languages
Have excellent classroom management skills
Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
Be able to provide references covering the last two years
