Weare looking for apart-time Early Years Development Adviserto jointhe Education, Inclusion and Achievement team here at Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council.

TheEIA teamis responsible forworking with schools and settings across Stockton-on-Tees (and beyond) to provide advice, support and professional development. as an Early Years Dvelopment Adviser 0-7, you will be part of the 0-11 team within the service.

A key part of the role is working directly with staff in schools and settings to promote outstandingand inclusivelearning and development opportunities for children aged 0-7.

You will alsobe responsible fordeveloping and delivering professional development opportunities for a range of audiences.


We're looking for someone who:

* Is a qualified teacher with strong Early Years and/or KS1 experience
* Has a proven record of high-quality teaching and improving outcomes for children 0–7
* Can provide high-quality support, challenge and training to schools and settings
* Communicates effectively and works well with a range of professionals
* Understands the EYFS framework, KS1 curriculum and Ofsted requirements
* Brings creativity, adaptability and professional integrity
* Is committed to fostering inclusive, supportive and positive learning environments.

This is a varied role with opportunities to work in a wide range of contexts and creative partnerships; as such, the successful applicant will need excellent communication skills, goodorganisationand emotional intelligence.


This is a part time role of 15 hours per week and the actual salary for the role is £20,228 - £23,793.
