Opportunity Overview
We wish to appoint a Lecturer in Quantity Surveying to strengthen our teaching team by sharing a passion for delivering a high-quality learning experience and advancing good practice through curriculum development. The appointee will teach undergraduate and postgraduate students across a range of programmes, focusing on commercial management and quantity surveying, drawing on substantial experience in education or industry. You will have the opportunity to undertake individual or collaborative research, and develop your career in a supportive, innovative and diverse environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and deliver engaging teaching and learning activities, and supervise research projects at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
* Demonstrate knowledge of current and emerging developments in quantity surveying and commercial management.
* Have experience in the teaching or practice of quantity surveying.
* Motivate, coach and support students with a range of individual learning styles and development needs.
* Demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal and team‑working skills.
