The shift pattern is Monday-Friday 08.30 – 16.30 (37 hours).
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated Team Leader to join our Children and Families Team in Renfrewshire. You will be accountable for the management of a children and families team within one of our geographical areas and will manage the deployment of team resources within the area effectively. Renfrewshire Health and Social Care partnership is responsible for Adult Social Work and all Health Services within the community, including all health-related
children’s services.
This post would suit a motivated registered nurse with NMC who has completed a post registration qualification in Health visiting or Public Health Nursing and who has consolidated their learning and can evidence continuing professional development. This is an opportunity to move into a front line leadership position that will allow development of leadership skills whilst supporting Health Visiting teams. The team Leader will have direct responsibility for the line management, professional leadership and supervision of PHN/Child & Family Health staff in a geographic area of the HSCP.
A Post-Graduate Certificate in Child Protection is desirable although not essential.

If you are successful, you will have to successfully complete the NHS GGC Induction as well as the Children and Families specific induction
This includes training in the use of the National Practice Model and EMIS system.
