Role Overview
We are seeking an Engineering Lead to head up the Integrations Team, reporting directly into the Head of Engineering. This role is focused on delivering high-quality backend integrations that power the core platform. You will lead a team of engineers, set technical direction, and ensure the successful delivery of scalable integration solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and line manage a team of c.4 engineers, providing mentorship and guidance.
* Define the technical strategy for backend integrations across the platform.
* Work closely with product and other engineering teams to design robust integration solutions.
* Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment are followed.
* Oversee technical delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
* Champion engineering excellence and foster a culture of collaboration.
Required Skills/Experience
* Strong background in backend engineering and integrations.
* Hands-on experience with Node.js and .NET (open to wider technology experience but backend heavy).
* Proven experience leading and mentoring engineering teams.
* Ability to design scalable, secure, and reliable integration solutions.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Beneficial: Previous experience working in the hospitality technology sector or with related SaaS platforms.
