This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and commercially driven Area Sales Manager to join a newly established business with significant growth plans and the ambition to become a market leader in its specialist product category.
Based from a modern manufacturing facility in Rotherham, this hybrid role offers the chance to shape the company's commercial success from the ground up while developing your own career within a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.
The Role
As Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth across the UK by developing relationships with:
* Concrete frame contractors
* Groundworks contractors
* Tier 1 contractors
* Civil engineering contractors
* Distribution partners
You will identify project opportunities, convert enquiries into orders, and work closely with customers to provide commercial and technical support.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop new business opportunities across the UK construction market
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer accounts
* Track and manage live project opportunities
* Attend customer meetings, site visits, and industry events
* Support quotation preparation and project pricing
* Maintain CRM and sales pipeline records
* Provide monthly forecasts and market intelligence

The Ideal Candidate
You will have:
* Experience in construction product sales, technical sales, or business development
* Knowledge of reinforced concrete, civil engineering, or construction accessories
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* A proactive and self-motivated approach
* Strong commercial awareness
* Full UK driving licence
Desirable Experience
* Selling to contractors, distributors, or structural engineers
* Specification sales experience
* Existing industry contacts
* Knowledge of reinforcement or concrete accessory products
Package
* Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience
* Performance-related bonus
