Rate of Pay: £12.85 - £16.62 per hour
Summary:
Support the delivery of a safe, clean, and sustainable environment through grounds maintenance and street services. This role involves maintaining public spaces, green areas, and community facilities, ensuring high environmental standards across the County.
Responsibilities:
* Carry out grass cutting using hand-held and ride-on equipment
* Maintain parks, open spaces, schools, and landscaped areas
* Undertake planting, horticultural maintenance, and landscaping tasks
* Support cemetery duties including grave digging (with training)
* Maintain sports pitches and facilities
Essential Requirements:
* Full, clean driving licence
* Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
* Physically fit (lifting, bending, manual handling required)
* Understanding of health & safety practices
* Flexible and reliable approach to working hours
* Relevant grounds maintenance or horticulture experience (preferred)
