Head of E-commerce
Location: Leicester
Salary: Up to £50,000PA
Monday - Friday / Full time / 40 Hour week / 20 + 8 Days Holiday / Ongoing training and development opportunities

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement eCommerce strategies to meet business goals and targets
* Align eCommerce strategy with overall company objectives in collaboration with senior management
* Set and monitor key performance indicators for team and business performance
* Create an eCommerce roadmap/strategy for web and IT Development, scoping requirements, and overseeing delivery
* Responsible for purchasing product setup, manufacturer/distributor communication, shipping, and pricing (landed costs)
* Responsible for all branding and marketing activity, such as solutions for retail and trade
* Oversee SEO activities, liaising with Ram and other SEO companies to ensure technical and on page optimisation is reviewed and carried out
* Own the customer experience on the eCommerce platform, ensuring seamless navigation, efficient checkout, and top‑tier customer support
* Manage and act on customer feedback loops to enhance user experience and satisfaction
* Manage, mentor, and train teams across eCommerce, development, and content to meet business goals
* Lead and manage the e‑commerce team, overseeing daily operations
* Oversee the design, functionality and performance of the eCommerce platform, ensuring seamless user experiences
* Lead regular audits of the website using analytics tools to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement
* Work closely with development teams to ensure platform scalability, security and responsiveness
* Review and adopt advanced tools (e.g., AI, Chatbots, AR) to enhance the eCommerce experience
* Manage Shopify apps, reviewing performance and minimising unnecessary costs
* Lead initiatives for custom developments, such as back‑end systems or custom apps, to improve efficiency and provide a competitive edge
* Manage Amazon and eBay platforms, ensuring timely product listings, account health and maintenance, and FBA shipments
* Coordinate with marketing teams to launch product promotions, seasonal sales and new product lines
* Ensure brand consistency across digital marketing channels and the website
Key Requirements
* Proven experience in a similar role
* Over 10 years' experience in management, with strong ability to lead, mentor and collaborate across teams and departments
* Proven capability to innovate and adapt to emerging trends
* Expertise in digital tools, marketing platforms, and eCommerce solutions
