Mechanical Fitter: Worcester
Salary: GBP32,000 – GBP35,000 + 4 Bonus + Overtime.
Working hours: 37.5hr working week with a half day Friday. Includes Private Medical Insurance, Life Assurance, 34 days holiday, Paid Sick Leave, Personal Accident Insurance, Fitness Program, Long Service Awards, Share Incentive Plan and a 12% Pension Scheme.
Our client is a leading manufacturer dedicated to producing products whose quality is recognised as second to none. With exciting plans for 2025, they are looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join their Engineering team.
Role and Responsibilities
* Involved in the refurb, modification and testing of equipment required for distribution to customer sites.
* Undertaking mechanical installation, testing and refurbishment of pipework and associated equipment.
* Processing work orders for equipment assigned to workshops.
* Assembly and refurbishment of equipment and ensuring paperwork is completed.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
* Mechanical Engineering skills: pipework, fitting, pneumatics, welding, fabrication.
* Electrical knowledge is advantageous.
* NVQ Mechanical Engineering is advantageous.
