About the role:
This is a hybrid role (minimum 2 days a week in the office) and can be either full-time or part-time (exact hours can be discussed further).
You’ll provide a professional Legal Advice service to both our commercial and personal customers. You’ll manage customer queries on various legal areas by establishing facts, providing legal advice, and exploring practical and legal options, including funding sources and resolution alternatives.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Managing the customer experience professionally, maintaining engagement, managing expectations, and meeting/exceeding service levels.
2. Informing customers of funding opportunities or benefits related to their Legal Expenses Insurance or private funding.
3. Communicating clearly, concisely, and honestly, while being sensitive and empathetic to customer and partner needs.
About you:
You should have significant experience as a Legal Advisor or Paralegal, ideally from a Legal Advice environment, and be qualified as a Legal Executive, LPC/BVC/LLB, or similar. You should be passionate about excellent customer outcomes, possess strong communication skills, and be able to identify issues and solutions proactively. You should enjoy presenting legal advice in a precise, understandable, and empathetic manner.
Additional key requirements include:
* Practical knowledge of Employment, Property, and Consumer Law, with the ability to learn and advise on other areas such as Family, Wills & Probate, Landlord & Tenant, and Commercial Law.
* Ability to work collaboratively and be highly customer-focused.
* Ability to perform against targets and SLAs.
* Understanding of Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) requirements.
