Job Title: Senior Project manager\n Location: Newcastle (onsite)\n Contract: 12 month Fixed Term Contract\n Salary: £70-£75k DOE\n\nThe role of Senior Project Manager\n Our client, who is a global real estate company, who has a presence in over 70 countries, has an exciting new opening for a Senior Project Manager to join their team on a fixed term contract basis. Projects will encompass both newbuild and refurbishment of offices and labs in a live environment. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading and overseeing the projects until completion, based in the Newcastle area.
\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nensuring successful delivery within time, budget, and quality parameters\ndevelop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation\ncollaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project objectives are met\nimplement and oversee effective project governance, processes, and systems throughout the project lifecycle\nconduct regular risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential issues\nmonitor project finances and manage the change control process\nfacilitate clear communication among team members and stakeholders through regular meetings and written reports\nensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations\nidentify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and potential clients\nmentor and guide junior project managers to foster their professional development\n About You \n\ndemonstrable experience in managing large-scale construction projects newbuild and refurb\nproven track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects on time and within budget\nstrong knowledge of construction processes, methodologies, and industry best practices\nproficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project and Primavera\nexcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills\nability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and team members\nstrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail\nexperience in a consultancy environment is preferred\n We are looking for candidates who are available to start work immediately and must hold the required experience outlined above.
